The patch titled
     fat: small optimization to __fat_readdir()
has been added to the -mm tree. Its filename is
     fat-small-optimization-to-__fat_readdir.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:
   a) Consider who else should be cc'ed
   b) Prefer to cc a suitable mailing list as well
   c) Ideally: find the original patch on the mailing list and do a

Subject: fat: small optimization to __fat_readdir()
From: OGAWA Hirofumi <hirofumi@mail.parknet.co.jp>

This removes unnecessary parsing for directory entries.

If short_only, we don't need to parse longname. And if !both and it found
the longname, we don't need shortname.
