No.
The machines are Linux pre-loaded. They do support Linux!
There is no need to check for both variables for Windows specific code (
there are tons of \WVIS and \WXPF only checking).
The only way this statement makes sense is that they *do* check for Linux.

Yes I mixed up XP and NT.
