ugh.  Random rampant memory corruption caused by unplugging an HDMI
cable?  I'm not even sure which subsystem could be involved here.

Are you able to run a git bisection search please?

Hm.  Isn't that X trying to access memory which is not mapped?

Rafał, which graphics driver are you using?

I use radeonhd from today morning git. Does it matter as I play (plug,unplug) with HDMI in init 3?
I'll try bisecting tomorrow.
