you need to enable:
CONFIG_SCHED_TRACER=y
CONFIG_CONTEXT_SWITCH_TRACER=y
it's not particularly well named though. Why doesnt it say
LATENCY_TRACER or something?

sounds like potential SMM triggered latencies.
