Hi, 
When I have to boot with nohz=off , this could be a problem with rt
isn't it ? 
Who I could debug this problem ? 
This is a laptop with linux x86_64 ( I had try fedora 10 beta ) and
others kernel like 2.6.22 and 2.6.24 .

Can you point me some documentation about nohz=off , 
I try search a bit but don't found anything interesting.

I am not sure I understood your question but it is not a problem to use
RT with NOHZ disabled. I even dare to say that most distributions ship with
NOHZ disabled by default.

Hi, to laptop not hang on boot with a kernel 2.6.24 until a kernel
2.6.27, I need put on boot options, nohz=off , and this seems the bigger
problem . 
How I find out / debug what happen on my laptop with nohz ?

What kernel versions are you are using? Which laptop model?

Well but when NOHZ is enable and laptop hang on boot , this problem

Sure thing.

But it is usually important to add all the relevant information you have
available. Exact kernel version, any special config option you used when
compiling the kernel, any error message printed during boot, the last
message printed before the system froze, etc...

It is hard to help debugging a problem without information.

OK , I don't have laptop here, next weekend I can send dmesg , lspci
dmidecode etc . 
I test with Fedora-10-Live-Beta-x86_64,
kernel-2.6.27-0.352.rc7.git1.fc10 

and a Fedora 9 updated kernel with kernel kernel-2.6.26.5-45.fc9.i686

test with others kernel from Mandriva . 


but my initial question is: where I can find more documentation , for
trying debug this problem ? debug boot parameters , etc
