To developers
Which kernel version are you using for development? I
know the driver started out in 2.6.27, but I have
noticed the kernel development has moved to 2.6.28.
So for me to get the latest ath9k updates do I need to
move to the 2.6.28 development kernel? Is there a set
schedule for when you send updates to be include into
the development kernel?
thanks

Actually we're working on 2.6.29 already. "We" means all wireless
developres lead by Sir Linville. And "we" use wireless-testing git tree.
Please have a thorough read here:

Use wireless-testing, aka "wl". Also if you just want to test the
drivers quickly without rebuilding everything you can try
compat-wireless which is based on wireless-testing:

ASAP.

Let me clarify this a bit -- as soon as we have patches completed we
post them, we don't hog them up. Then John merges them. That's how it
should be. This is why we don't have our own tree. That's just evil and
silly.
