Hello Jean,
At last it's done :)
I've revised the patch series due to your comments. Now there is a new
patch 6/6. This patch contains the "breaking long lines"-stuff from
the old patch 5/5. All the other changes I've listed in the
corresponding patches.
There is much more work to do. But first I would like to get this
stuff merged. With these code cleanups the maintenance and fixing
should be much easier.
