Hi

After I startet using mesa >=7.4 at lest the mesa-packages actually compiles. Which is 
good. Nevertheless there still are problems. Apparently the TLS support which is currently 
disables on uclibc targets is also broken on glibc. At lest I get the following when 
running glxgears.

/usr/lib/dri/swrast_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_tls_Context)

Removing the line "inherit glx-use-tls" in mesa-common.inc makes software-rendering work 
again.

Hi Søren,

What MACHINE and DISTRO are you using? Which glibc version?

i686
angstrom.2008.1 
glibc must be 2.9 since I have not enforced anythin else.

OK, something must be broken there... glibc on i686 2.9 definitely has 
TLS.

Which version of xserver-xorg? It also inherits glx-use-tls, so 
_glapi_tls_Context should be there if you've rebuilt since August 24.

The ensure that stuff is not changing we have based us on
OE commit eb0805d926c8cf4c1f48d21ee9402786c3209df9

bitbake -i tells me 
xserver-xorg_1.7.3.bb
