"ath5k: remove stale function declarations, make some functions static"
commented-out some unused functions.  This removes them.

This code was commented-out when it was added about a year ago and
remains unchanged -- seems as if we don't need it...

Thanks John.  A lot of these have equivalents in the HAL and
could be useful "some day" but as they have been in for such a
long time with no users, and are always there in git if we need
them, you can have my:
