hmm, a 'valid_bcd' function would have been useful here.
also, this is secondary to the puprose of the patch (you could easily
do this for all rtc ases)

hmm, a 'valid_bcd' function would have been useful here.
also, this is secondary to the puprose of the patch (you could easily
do this for all rtc ases)
