drm messages from 3.2.1

0000:f0:10.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX
5200 Ultra] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
        Subsystem: nVidia Corporation Device 0010
Flags: bus master, 66MHz, medium devsel, latency 16, IRQ 48
        Memory at 91000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
        Memory at 98000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M]
Expansion ROM at 90000000 [disabled] [size=128K]

The monitor is connected to DVI-I-2, but the driver claims output is on
TV-1.

Here's the difference of the kernel output between 3.2.1 and 3.3-rc5:

Reverting commit a0b25635515ef5049f93b032a1e37f18b16e0f6f ("drm/nouveau/gpio:
reimplement as nouveau_gpio.c, fixing a number of issues") (together with
47e5d5cb83d4b41168f4afa1ca32843d4a126cc8,
52c4d767437b40b0cbc02d6a4480abb45ace64bb and
7df898b1a70b13c3a8892625f4ead929d9554293 which depend on it) fixes the issue,
and nouveau.tv_disable=1 is also a workaround.

This message contains a list of some regressions from 3.2,
for which there are no fixes in the mainline known to the tracking team.
If any of them have been fixed already, please let us know.

If you know of any other unresolved regressions from 3.2, please let us
know either and we'll add them to the list. Moreover, when you are
reporting a kernel regression, please send a CC of your report to the LKML
(or forward it to the LKML if you are not reporting the regression by e-mail)
with the word "regression" in the subject, as that will make it much
easier for us to find it. Also, please let us know if any of the entries
below are invalid.

Each entry from the list will be sent additionally in an automatic reply
to this message with CCs to the people involved in reporting and handling
the issue.

references.

As you can see, there is a Bugzilla entry for each of the listed regressions.
There also is a Bugzilla entry used for tracking the regressions from 3.2,
unresolved as well as resolved, at:

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42644

Please let the tracking team know if there are any Bugzilla entries that
should be added to the list in there.

Thanks!
