Hi all,

  I configured radosgw and installed s3.And also created user using this 
command,"sudo radosgw-admin user create --uid=ramu --display-name=sree --
email=ram@test.com",it was created user fine,after when am creating s3 bucket 
using"s3 create -u alpha" it is showing error,

ERROR: ConnectionFailed

and s3 -u list also not working.
Please help me to create s3 bucket.

The apache2 error log is,

As the error log says, you need to specify 'rgw socket path' in your
ceph.conf file. See the man page for an example:

http://ceph.com/docs/master/man/8/radosgw/

Something like this should work:

    rgw socket path = /tmp/radosgw.sock

And in your Apache httpd.conf:

    FastCgiExternalServer /var/www/s3gw.fcgi -socket /tmp/radosgw.sock

  After i configured ,and start the apache2,am getting 
following error,

* Starting web server apache2    
                                                                                                   
Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/httpd.conf
Invalid command 'FastCgiExternalServer', perhaps misspelled or 
defined by a module not included in the server configuration
Action 'start' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

  After rebooting my system,I restarted the Apache2 but it's  not restarting,
service apache2 restart (or)/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/rgw.conf:
FastCgiExternalServer: redefinition of previously defined class 
"/var/www/s3gw.fcgi"
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.
   ...fail!

How about access.log? Is the script exiting with 200 or something else?

Hi all,
   I configured radosgateway through,
"http://ceph.com/docs/master/radosgw/config/" this documentation.

But after restarting apache2 server, 
it was not starting and it was showing error.

The error is,
Starting web server apache2.
                                                                                                      
Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/rgw.conf.

FastCgiExternalServer:redefinition of previously defined class 
"/var/www/s3gw.fcgi".

Action 'start' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

There is no error logs in apache2 error.log file.
Please help me to radosgw and s3.

Sounds like you have multiple conflicting configurations. Maybe you
have something else defined on a different config file already?

  I disabled the default configuration and enable rgw.conf.But am getting same 
error.

Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/rgw.conf:

Look through *all* of your apache configuration files and verify that there is not another FastCgiExternalServer declaration somewhere.  If there is, comment it out and try, again.
