I originally extended this offer in the Wandboard Google group. Fabio
Estevam asked me to join and propose it here.

Having spent a while working with Yocto under a VM I decided to devote a
full node to BitBake builds. After doing a bitbake world in less time than
my VM built fsl-image-gui I thought a package repository might be useful to
the Freescale community. I'm happy to leave this node devoted to builds
and set up a CI system to build and publish to one of my web facing
machines.

So if folks think it would add value then what repo type? What package
format(s)?

maybe adding meta-fsl-* to Angstrom would fill that need of a binary
package repository and avoid to maintain a fsl centric package
repository :
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/
http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/repo/

I also agree here. I don't think it is worth maintaining a specific public
repository as it is not as simply as it appears from first look. Angstrom
does a great job on this and looks as the right place to make it.

Koen, are you open for it? In case if a positive answer, what is need to be
done?

Regards,

Send a patch against the setup-scripts repo and let me know which machines you need it for.
