i found a conversion from April 2014 outlining the same problem, but the situation hasn't changed (the above oops
comes from a 3.17 kernel):

shouldn't JUMP_LABEL and DEBUG_SET_MODULE_RONX be mutually exclusive, at least on arm?
or was DEBUG_SET_MODULE_RONX superseded by something more fine grained that i
can use to circumvent this problem?
