Hello,
i am a student of Theoretical Computer Science at Jagiellonian University
in Cracow. I'd like to contribute to grub so I want to know what would be
usefull to the project for the moment and relatively easy for the
beginer. Looking forward to your reply.

To be honest, what is desperately needed is documentation update. It
lags far behind actual code.

Well, I'm not sure what you mean by "help you". We're certainly not going
to write code for you.

I'm not a project maintainer, but typically the way things work here is
that you submit the patch to this mailing list (you can view lots of
information on this on the web) and then if it is good a maintainer like
Vladimir will okay it and it will go into the GRUB source code.

I'm trying to complete the port of GRUB for the Diskonchip by adding the 
NFTL read support. Is there someone else doing the same ?
