Heh, yes, which is why I asked for many more comments. ;) I *think* it
was entirely to control the stack (and ssp) behavior (i.e. don't inline,
don't elide unused stack variables, etc).

Heh, yes, which is why I asked for many more comments. ;) I *think* it
was entirely to control the stack (and ssp) behavior (i.e. don't inline,
don't elide unused stack variables, etc).
