The quilt patch titled
     Subject: tools/mm: free the allocated memory
has been removed from the -mm tree.  Its filename was
     tools-mm-free-the-allocated-memory.patch

This patch was dropped because it was merged into the mm-stable branch
of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/akpm/mm

The comm_str memory needs to be freed if the search_pattern function call
fails in get_comm
