Subject: [PATCH v7 RESEND 4/7] dt-bindings: hwmon: Move max31785 compatibles to max31790 document
Date: Wed, 1 Oct 2025 09:44:38 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20251001144441.310950-5-eajames@linux.ibm.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20251001144441.310950-1-eajames@linux.ibm.com>
The binding for the max31785 is the same as the max31790, so just add
some compatible strings for the max31785 chip.

-
-The Maxim MAX31785 is a PMBus device providing closed-loop, multi-channel fan
-management with temperature and remote voltage sensing. Various fan control
-features are provided, including PWM frequency control, temperature hysteresis,
-dual tachometer measurements, and fan health monitoring.
-
-Required properties:
-- compatible : One of "maxim,max31785" or "maxim,max31785a"
-- reg : I2C address, one of 0x52, 0x53, 0x54, 0x55.
