Description
===========

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

KVM: arm64: account pKVM reclaim against the VM mm

Protected guest faults charge long term pins to the VM's mm. Teardown
can run later from file release, where current->mm may be unrelated.

Drop the charge from kvm->mm instead.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2026-72281 to this issue.

	Issue introduced in 7.1 with commit 4e6e03f9eaddb6be5ca8477dc5642e94ddece47e and fixed in 7.2-rc4 with commit d098bb75d14fde2f12155f1a95ec0168160867ce

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual
changes are never tested alone, but rather are part of a larger kernel
release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
the latest release is impossible, the individual changes to resolve this
