The quilt patch titled
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
     mm-rename-is_vm_hugetlb_page-to-vma_is_hugetlb.patch

This patch was dropped because an updated version will be issued

From: "Lorenzo Stoakes (ARM)" <ljs@kernel.org>
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
Date: Mon, 14 Sep 2026 15:57:48 +0100

The is_vm_hugetlb_page() predicate is badly named - the mapping can span
more than a page and it is inconsistent with other VMA predicates that
typically are prefixed by vma_.

Rename to vma_is_hugetlb() for consistency, and while we're here update
some VM_BUG_ON_VMA() to VM_WARN_ON_ONCE_VMA() as to avoid unnecessary
oopses.

No functional change intended.

The quilt patch titled
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
has been removed from the -mm tree. Its filename was
     mm-rename-is_vm_hugetlb_page-to-vma_is_hugetlb.patch

This patch was dropped because an updated version will be issued

From: "Lorenzo Stoakes (ARM)" <ljs@kernel.org>
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
Date: Thu, 17 Sep 2026 17:22:37 +0100

------------------------------------------------------
From: "Lorenzo Stoakes (ARM)" <ljs@kernel.org>
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
Date: Sat, 03 Oct 2026 17:32:58 +0100

------------------------------------------------------
From: "Lorenzo Stoakes (ARM)" <ljs@kernel.org>
Subject: mm: rename is_vm_hugetlb_page() to vma_is_hugetlb()
Date: Fri, 09 Oct 2026 19:04:21 +0100

The is_vm_hugetlb_page() predicate is badly named - the mapping can span
more than a page and it is inconsistent with other VMA predicates that
typically are prefixed by vma_.

Rename to vma_is_hugetlb() for consistency, and while we're here update
some VM_BUG_ON_VMA() to VM_WARN_ON_ONCE_VMA() as to avoid unnecessary
oopses.

No functional change intended.
