[linux-lvm] Inclusion in 2.3.x kernel

Hi there,

can anybody shade my lights when we can expect lvm to be included in
stock/devel kernel?

Please, please do it as soon as possible. The more people are playing
with it, the better it´ll get.

When will be a new version available. Since end of feb there is no new
version (except patches) ?

I've already sent it twice to Linus asking him for inclusion.

I think in about 3-4 weeks.

Maybe we should ask Alan Cox for putting it into his infamous ac series
first, then maybe chances are better that Linux will take it.

Btw, I just tested Stephen Tweedy´s latest raw dev patch together with
some tweak against Oracle - that rocks. Now I´ll test via LVM. This will
be nice for some database guys...

An oracle guy said these days during a talk that they are already
talking to Linus to put raw device support into the mainstream kernel.
