are there any docs on installing and using the linux x.25 stack with a
generic sync board?

Also, where can the latest x25d and pad software be found?

Thanks

Dennis

Dennis,

Yes, we just recently ported our airport message switch to Linux and it uses
several x25 links to establish message connections to the CIDIN cloud. This is
primarily everyplace but the U.S.A. though.
We are interested in trying The Software Group's SGP card (www.wanware.com),
which worked very well on an older port of our switch using Solaris X86. Our
purchasing dept is looking for the funds to get a demo from them (no freebies).

interested in X.25 in linux currently? Is there enough market to justify
making it all work?

There dont seem to be any drivers that support x25 with the linux hdlc
module. Does it work?

Thanks,

We're using X25 here successfully with Cyclades sync cards & also with XOT.
I can help with specific problems where possible.

Hi,

Some more references are below! It has links, which was already posted in

1. Configure the X.25 protocols in Linux kernel using information in
http://www.baty.hanse.de/linux-x25/doc/FAQ.txt
2. Recompile the kernel using information in
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Kernel-HOWTO-2.html

Yes, but they are generally of little use; simply pointers to uninformative
docs in the kernel distribution. I was hoping for a more intelligent
reference, not something that references some unneeded feature or other
useless reference.
