I just spent most of today making some improvements to the new index page, adding new links and generally tidying up.

I added links to the ALSA WIKI, Dr. Nagornis' 0.9.0 howto, Paul Davis's API guide and the .asoundrc txt file.

I also completed the new index page so that it updates when news is added. Nice system Jaroslav.

I feel that the new index page is ready to go primetime now. I believe it covers everything that was discussed over the past 4 months as being necessary including:

- Easy access to crucial marketing information on the main page.
- A brief but consise explanation of what ALSA is and why.
- Access to recent news easily for those who wish to view it.
- A flowing design. On most monitors all the crucial information is shown in the first screen.
- The links don't take up as much space as they do currently.
- Some simple php tricks so that windows and netscape users get approximately the same design.
- layout and color scheme are fitting with the popular php paradigm.

If anyone has anymore they would like added to the design please let me know. Otherwise I will take it to mean that the new page is accepted and I will make the switch.

I'm also looking for suggestions for additional documentation links and would like to hear from developers who are supporting the 0.9 series so I can add your APPs to the applications page.

Best regards.
