You got wrong super block format in block 16,
what did you answer on the question about
super block format before rebuilding?

I sent a response, strange you didn't got it...
But (quick check ) i didn't sent it to the list
but but directly to you (hit wrong button, sorry)
so maybe that's the problem

My reiserfsprogs are 3.x.1b

I know, that's what kernel writes :-(

I picked all of the answers one at a time :-)
there were four of them 1 was 3.6.x (afair)
last three were 3.9.5 with , =, >=
Two upper versions resulted with sb beeing at block 16
two lower: at block 2, which also didn't satisfied my
kernel :-(
