	could I make a cd rom bootdisk instead floppy disk bootdisk ?
I cannot create/use  bootdisk since my fd damage.....

Yes, you can make a bootable cdrom.  It's covered in the cd-writing
howto at http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/CD-Writing-HOWTO.html

Section 4.11 tells how.
