Summary: -
My linux machine crashes with an oops if I unplug the usb cable while
playing a sound file to a usb sound device.

Attached (in bzip2 format): -
1) The oops report after going through ksymoops. (With added comments)
2) The module in which the oops happens.
3) The source code for the module.

Can anyone help me track this problem?
It looks like it is caused by the "search_dev_ep" function in
./linux/drivers/usb/host/usb-uhci.c

It seems that there are two kernel modules that do the same job,
usb-uhci.o and uhci.o (alternative)
In the mean time, I will give the alternative a try and see if that is
more stable.

Cheers
James
