No confusion...just that the "recently" was in fact a decision I made 
yesterday. I had used bitkeeper a few different times since it was 
touted as the easiest way to get the latest kernel snapshots, and I had 
previously no intention of working on any SCM project. However, I joined 
the arch mailing list about a week ago, and last night I decided to 
start coding a few changes that will make it suit my needs a bit better. 
I have no idea if these changes will be incorporated into arch, and they 
don't have any overlap with bitkeeper functionality. However, I must 
abide by the bitkeeper license now that I have made that decision. I 
will be pulling linux kernels from the cvs exported version from here on 
out, and I will probably re-import it into arch in order to maintain a 
local kernel tree.
