[Printing-architecture] Schedule Arch WG conf call for Scott McNeil, FSG Executive Director, to attend

I spoke with Scott McNeil, FSG Executive Director, yesterday about
contributing the IBM implementation of the JTAPI C code to FSG and what FSG
expects from a contribution. He and I also talked about the FSG
OpenPrinting working group and what the FSG Board expects from the
OpenPrinting working group. I asked if he would be willing to call into one
of our Thursday Architecture conference calls and he thought that it would
be a good idea. Here is a list of topics that he came up with (I added
topic 7). Are there other topics that he should include in the agenda?

Scott cannot attend this Thursday 8/28, but he is available next Thursday
9/4. It would be nice if everyone in our working group can attend. Will
everyone be on the call Thursday 9/4. I have a slight recollection that
Glen will be out of town next week, is that true? Let me know and I will
see if we can reschedule with Scott.

    Traction; Success!

 2. Request status of OpenPrinting

 3. Open source community acceptance of OpenPrinting's efforts

 4. Request plans of OpenPrinting

    - per task? roadmap? timeline? etc.

 5. Discuss leadership issue

 6. Request list of resources needed by OpenPrinting in 2004

 7. Contributing code to FSG/Open Source

 8. other?

Please advise if this agenda is ok.

For me September 4 is no problem. I will be out of town October 14-16 as 
today I got the message that my proposal for a tutorial was accepted on 
the www.linux-kongress.org in Saarbrücken, Germany.

We can take Foomatic (www.linuxprinting.org) as example here, as it has 
formed a printing standard for now.
