Hi all,
This list has unfortunately gotten very frequently spammed lately. This
leads to the moderation queue for his list frequently having hundreds or
even thousands of messages; unfortunately a small number of those (maybe
1 in 100) are legitimate.
This takes up a bunch of my time, which I think could be better spent
elsewhere. Therefore, if someone would be willing to volunteer to act
as list moderator and process messages that are diverted for manual
approval, please let me know.

I run some heavily used lists as well. Non-subscriber posts are
not moderated, but filtered automatically. I use spamassassin and
a simple perl script that filters out everything with a (windows)
executable attachment.
That takes care of >99% of the spam, automatically. The lists
now basically run themselves, I barely look at it.
