This is a very good new! :) Thanks for your work, because for that, more OSes are supposed to run :)

But, one thing, now with CVS, i can't enable SDL. It's this a fail of me, or it's a general fail?

[Qemu-devel] VESA VBE support

Hi,

Bochs VESA VBE support is now commited in QEMU. I was able to use a 
Knoppix CD in 1024x768x16 without problems. All the screen depths (4, 8, 
5, 16, 24 and 32) should work.

Some work is still needed to make it work in qemu-fast.

Thank you very much - I have qemu running Debian Sid (XFree86 4.3 and a 
pre-3.2 KDE snapshot) at 1024x768x16.  It looks great, and is much faster 
than Bochs.  (It compiled just fine with SDL, too).
