fyi:
I had one 'source' problem with 4.0.0: deprecated glib functions.
I hacked common/m4/gst-glib2.m4:
- GLIB_EXTRA_CFLAGS="$GLIB_EXTRA_CFLAGS -Wno-deprecated-declarations"
+ GLIB_EXTRA_CFLAGS="$GLIB_EXTRA_CFLAGS -DG_DISABLE_DEPRECATED"
to get it running ... guess that's the wrong way of doing it, but it helped :)
