How long until a resizer for v4 is finished/stable? For shrinking?

I am getting a 200 gig drive in the mail. It will be my biggest drive.
~ I want to have it be mostly one fat reiser4 partition. I don't want to
regret this later.

Isn't this almost an FAQ ;)

Those guys need time, money and time==money.

AFAIK vs is working on something more mission-critical than a resizer,
so my somewhat uneducated guess would be that the work may start after
that, but then again, I'd maybe opt for quota support first.

I got the impression that quota support would be finished faster and it'd
be more important for the community.

Maybe this is where the wizened master tells his young grasshopper to
have patience, for life is like a beanstock, isn't it?

Only if someone can assure me that the on-disk format will not change
until there's a resizer available.

It has also been said on many occasions that the on-disk format will
not change. Not in the sense that it would require mkfs.

However, what I would _really_ like an answer to is what will happen
when hsets get implemented, since psets brought a minor fsck-fixable
change with them. Is it sure that we won't have to mkfs then either?

This is a bit like asking me if I will make January payroll. I don't
know. I hope so.

We have a customer that might pay for the resizer to be done. Still
talking about it....
