All,
I'm doing my MS in Software Systems and I'm in the final semester. I've
to do a dissertation to complete the course. I've planned to work on
ReiserFS. I would like to know the known issues & problems with the
current ReiserFS plus any additional improvements that can be done for
ReiserFS, so that I can concentrate on that part for my dissertation.
It would be really great if any of you can provide some links / pointers
on other Journaling File Systems.
Many thanks in advance,
Regards,
Siva

A reasonable place to start might be Daniel Robbins' Advanced Filesystem
Implementor's Guide:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-fs.html
The entire series discusses the origins, characteristics and usage of the
major journalled filesystems available for Linux and should also provide
you with some interesting links in lieu of the topic.

Hi Kerin,
Thanks for providing the link. I had actually gone through those and
those are published in the year 2001 and many things might have changed
by this time. So I thought I could get the current status to start with
my dissertation.
Thanks again,
Regards,
Siva

Are you looking for usage statistics, installation instructions, or a
whitepaper?
That is, do you want to know how popular it is, how to use it, or what
it is (design details)?
The latter can be found somewhere on namesys.com. Read the one for
reiser4. Should be on the homepage. Will blow your mind.
I should warn you: after reading that, you may have trouble coming up
with something original :P
