Reiser4 mount support, Grub support

Reiser4 mount support, Grub support

Hi,

is there a patch for util-linux to support reiser4 w/o -t reiser4 in mount?

The grub support is not really ready yet.
Symlinks do not work.
And if I try to specify the direct path it is accepted.
But when I try to boot it says invalid compress format  :(

add reiser4 to the list in /etc/filesystems ?

Hans, it is not related to the reiser4 comression,

It is error in loading compressed kernel image, means that
the file is corrupted or grub's readfile routine can't read
reiser4 files well.

I think Vitaly couldn't reproduce it.

Sure, they are grub related - but many people have a /usr/src/linux -
so if someone really had tried the grub patch he would have recognized
it. In fact it does not work at its current stage if I cannot boot a
kernel Image and if I cannot boot it from the symlink ..

I detected the problem with symlinks -- 32K that grub provides gets 
too fragmeted when grub is trying to get the kernel image through 
a symlink. I have changed the allocation in libaal a bit (enabled only
with configure --enable-memory-manager) and it works for me now. 
You can obtain the snapshot from:

It also includes a pair of bugfixes. Try it please and report me about 
the result.
