Hello, I'm looking for a low-bloat distro that will have support for 
multiple service providers (DSL & Cable)
FreeSWAN VPN, and other kernel patches applied.

Something fairly quick and simple.
I was origonaly thinking Slackware or Debian.
I'd prefer something that is easily updatable (i.e. cron job) without 
having to deal with source.

I've been long using Trustix Secure Linux (www.trustix.net -
www.trustix.com for commercial version)

But since TSL is now going purely commercial, you might rather want to
look at tinysofa (www.tinysofa.org)
