RedHat stopped support SPARC back in a 5.x or 6.x version (a few years
ago now). You can look at other distributions, such a Debian GNU/Linux
(http://www.debian.org) for actively supported Linux/SPARC
distributions.

I have one more question Can Debain distribution be installed on a Sun Workgroup Server E420, I did see mention of series of server but could not make out which series SPARC e420 belongs to.

I am running gentoo Linux version 2004.0 on about 50 Sun Ultra 5 and
Ultra 1 desktops. It works fine, and the SPARC gentoo software
versions are very similar to my Intel software versions.

I am running gentoo on a Sun E420 that is about to become my
mailserver, and the main problem is that after powerup the machine
must be booted in Solaris to initialize something before Linux will
boot. I have yet to find the right place to file this bug.

AFAIK all commercial distros have dropped 32-bit SPARC like a rock.
It's not entirely clear but it seems similar is also going on or has
also already happened to UltraSPARC.
