I have installed Xen 2.0 on a RHEL 4 Beta 2 machine and am having
problems booting into the xen0 kernel. When I boot, the last message I
see is:
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
I realize that kernel support may not be there for the console devices
and have attempted to build the kernel, but it did not boot either. Any
ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thx.

Probably you need udev. See the answer to FAQ question 4.2 at

Thanks, Keir. I had added an 'initrd' line to my GRUBG config
previously, and that had not worked. The FAQ points out that a 'module'
line should be added to the GRUB config, not 'initrd'. That worked.
Again, thanks.
