Hello,

I am using FreeBSD as and NFS server and Debian Linux as two clients.

These clients are www servers and mount 1TB from the NFS server.

I'm trying to tune for higher performance.

I can find info and have increased the nfsd daemons to 16.
This is a high as I can get it to go.
Can I go higher?

On the Linux client I have no been able to find how I can increase the max
number of connecting client daemons.

Can anyone please advise on how to increase the limit for client
daemons, biod, with Linux?

Many thanks.
Kind regards,
Rudi

Yes. "man rpc.nfsd"

There is no such thing as a "biod" on Linux. We use a single rpciod
daemon together with non-blocking I/O to drive all the asynchronous
requests.

Cheers,
