Hi all
I want to buy a cardbus bluetooth card for my old laptop (for use with a
keyboard).
Since the list of supported devices is no longer available at
http://www.holtmann.org/linux/bluetooth/devices.html
could anyone please tell me what would be a wise choice to avoid headaches
later on?
Thank you in advance,
Mack

I had a lot of luck with the socket f and g models.
If you are using a 2.4 kernel, these will work great.
If you need 2.6, you may have to apply a patch or wait until it makes it
into the mainline kernel. (Mathias Adam posted the patch on bluez-devel
around 3/5/05)

Hi Brad
Thanks for the input. I'm indeed "stuck" using 2.6 (802.11g drivers...) and
I'm having trouble finding the model you mentioned. Actually, I've
repeatedly searched amazon and I can only find one pcmcia/cardbus card:
3Com 3CRWB6096B
Will this work? Alternatively please just let me know a brand/product name I
can by expecting that it will work under 2.6.
Thank you for your input,
Mack
