Folks,

Has anyone got experience using s/w raid 5 and Xen?
I've had a report of crash in xenblkd under high disk load, and would
like to know whether this is a generic s/w raid5 thing, or something
specific to the SATA controllers in this particular setup.

Any relevant success or failure reports

Thanks,
Ian

I have been running software RAID-5 on one of my servers for about 3 months
now in production and it's been perfectly fine.

Has been running fine since xen itself started to work without crashing :)

(I was running some bad testing version of xen which crashed once every
three days or so)
