Hello all
I just bought two SiliconWave bt1.2 USB Dongles (Anycom and arp datacon).
What's the supportstate of SiliconWave?
Are they more like broadcom or more like csr?
regards
Marco

if it is the ROM version then all of them return the wrong inquiry with
RSSI event. I have a kernel workaround for that ready, but it is not
public at the moment.

I personally would say something in between. There are problems with the
SCO support, but all the rest seems to work fine.
Regards
Marcel

what does "hciconfig hci0 version features" tells you.

Actually I doubt it. However you set the inquiry mode to 1 and check by
yourself the size of the returned inquiry result events.

this one still has the inquiry with RSSI bug and actually I never saw
any Silicon Wave 1.2 dongle other than 0x757.

Send them in so they are archived, but I actually have one of these.
