Hi All,
I looked thru the avdtp code (bluetooth-alsa), but did not find support
for AVDTP_SUSPEND. Was wondering if anybody has worked to provide that
support and can email me the code (even if it is alpha or beta).

there is not support for AVDTP_SUSPEND at the moment. We also don't need
it right now. Maybe the ALSA A2DP plugin would make use of it in the
future.

We have not implemented suspend in the prototype. Do you want suspend so 
the headset can use SCO to a different device?
