It's a kernel thread, waiting for 'watch events' to fire in the 
xenstore. It waits in uninterruptible sleep (i.e., it is not woken by 
signals) hence spends most of its time in 'D' state. This doesn't mean 
it's hung.

Hey guys,

Sorry I can't be more helpful, still getting up to speed with Xen-3.0. 
However, I have noticed that kxbwatch (what is this?) is stuck in D 
state.  This is from today's changeset:

root    15  0.0  0.0     0    0 ?   SW<  17:19   0:00 [kthread]
root  2669  0.0  0.0     0    0 ?   DW<  17:19   0:00  \_[kxbwatch]
