Im a linux noobie, can anyone tell me exactly what i need to do to patch
the Bluetooth kernel patch 2.6.13-mh2 into my kernal? If there is a
HowTo: on the forums, or any forums, can you link them.

Im using Ubuntu Breezy 5.10 on a Dell inspiron 6000 laptop

Any help would be useful thank you.

This isn't really the place for that sort of discussion...

A much better bet would be to find a discussion forum on your distro in
particular, who will probably know much better how to build a custom
kernel for it... Building any custom kernel is largely independent of any
customisations you apply to it; they'll just be source patches of one
sort or other...
