I'm surprised by this step in the install instructions:
1) Make sure your mailserver accepts '+' as a recipient delimiter.
It would seem to me that mlmmj is not "mail server independent" if it
can't be used with an unmodified qmail installation.
Thanks in advance.

That's actually wrong these days. mlmmj has configurable recipient
delimiter. I'll fix the README, thanks.
Quote from TUNABLES:
· delimiter (normal)
This specifies what to use as recipient delimiter for the list.
Default is "+".

I saw that, but that seemed to say that was a "per list" configuration,
which didn't make sense to me. "recipient delimiter" also doesn't seem to
be defined anywhere.
Thanks for your package. I agree 100% with your motivation. I'll try to
knock up a qmail README once I have it up and running.

That is, unless someone *is* already using mlmmj with qmail, and can
already describe the installation/configuration steps.

As said before I AM using qmail and MLMMJ, and our control panel
supports BOTH qmail and postfix, I'd like to have MLMMJ work also with
qmail. IT IS supposed to work, I CAN SEE IN THE LOGS that it's
delivering, but in fact IT DOESN'T currently seemsly because of a right
problem. But nobody gave informations or tried to help...
About the setup, I can write something about it, the setup is VERY easy.

I'll gladly try to help. Can you show is the delivery from the logs, and
one of the mails not getting through.
Is it ending up in discarded/ directory?

Here is the log. As you can see, it's doing the delivery correctly. The
problem is that it seems it's not sending it to mlmmj-recieve. My
.qmail-default contains the following:
|preline -f /usr/bin/mlmmj-recieve -L
/var/spool/mlmmj/xen010503.gplhost.com_test -F
What is strange, is that when I just type "preline -f
/usr/bin/mlmmj-recieve -L /var/spool/mlmmj/xen010503.gplhost.com_test"
on the command line, it says "preline: usage: preline cmd [ arg ... ]"
so it seems to be wrong.

Where is that folder supposed to be? If it's supposed to be in the list
folder, then mlmmj-make-ml didn't make it.
Would you like to login in my test server and have a try? If you do, I
can give you the root (it's a xen VPS I use only for my internal tests).

Someone on this list have gotten this working--if it's not passing it on
to mlmmj-recieve, then mlmmj cannot be blamed (yet :-)

It's in queue/

If I could help out, I would definately do it, but it wouldn't make
sense for now.

A quick description would be helpful.
Thanks

What's your evidence for that? qmail reported a successful delivery.

That message says that "preline -f ..." is needed, which is what we've
been shown is being used.

Which "queue/"? Not the qmail queue (under /var/qmail/queue), because, as
we've already seen, it's been successfully delivered.
Thomas, please tell us the full story (and there's no need to SHOUT, I'm
sure).
