Hi all,
On my MPC83xx board the bi_brgfreq element of the "residual board info" is
not getting set by u-boot.
I've had a look at the chip user manual to try to find out how the BRG
clock is defined but I've drawn blank!
Does anyone here know?
TIA,
Alex

Are you using an 834x? If so I wouldn't expect bi_brgfreq to be set
since there aren't any BRGs on the chip.

The 832x and 8360 BRGCLK is on-half of QE clock.

Dave is right.
The problem is that you are not getting the latest reference manual.
The latest manual has clarified BRGCLK is half of QE clock.
