Hey there,
i've got a strange problem. I created a new user on my system which is
not able to switch between different roles. Looks like this:
~ $ id -Z
setester:user_r:user_t
~ $ newrole -r staff_r
Authenticating setester.
Cannot find your entry in the shadow passwd file.
~ $
This happens to all users except root:
~# id -Z
root:staff_r:staff_t
~# newrole -r sysadm_r
Authenticating root.
Password:
~# id -Z
root:sysadm_r:sysadm_t
Any suggestions what is wrong? Could that be a misfunction in pam?

I think newrole is looking up setester in /etc/passwd.
