What is this patch about? I can't erase or write to SPI DataFlash
(at91rm9200, u-boot 1.1.4)...

Which patch are you talking about? Ther eis neither an  explicit  nor
an implicit reference in your message.

And what has the AT91SAM9261EK (Sobject) to do  with  the  at91rm9200
(body) ?
