I seem to have VT:

I've compiled the loaded the module:

$ lsmod | grep kvm
kvm                    41120  0

But when I start kvm, I get:

$ sudo kvm -m 128 -hda DebianEtch24112006.qcow.img -boot c
open: No such file or directory
Could not initialize KVM, will disable KVM support

And the regular qemu seems to take over at this point. What am I
missing? I'm running Linux 2.6.18-3 on Debian unstable.

Thanks,
Diwaker

You need to modprobe kvm-intel as well.

Do not meddle in the internals of kernels, for they are subtle and quick to panic.
