Hi
Is it possible to get to the following wait times ? Any plans on adding them ?

CPU wait time : Time the VM had to wait to get the processor.
similarly :
Disk I/O wait time :
Swap I/O wait time :
Network I/O :
Network I/O for storage separately ?

Page faults

I am looking for measurements that would signify contention and would help administrators make decisions in addition to the utilization metrics.

Thanks
/Jd

This metric is available via Xenmon.

Xenolinux also shows this as steal time in /proc/stat.

Vmstat, top, sar and other tools know how to interpret
and show the number.

These are not broken down separately. All filesystem and
page fault I/O waiting time is expressed in one "iowait"
statistic, also in the CPU lines in /proc/stat.

And yes, vmstat, top and sar know about this one, too.
